Funding Organisations

Niburu London is proud to work alongside both national and local funding organisations, committed to creating positive change. Our work is made possible through the generous support of organisation including The National Lottery, Youth Music and The Arts Council England.

We are delighted to share with you our primary funding organisations, both past and present.

The National Lottery

Niburu London has worked in close partnership with The National Lottery since securing funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund in 2012. This engaging heritage project was followed in 2018 by the SWITCH Project, made possible by the National Lottery’s Reaching Communities Fund, Together at the Table in 2025 and The Million Miles & Smiles Project by The Million Hours Fund in 2026.

The SWITCH Project (Society Working Intergenerationally Towards Community Harmony), is Niburu London’s longest running project, from 2018 – 2025.

Youth Music

Niburu London’s partnership with Youth Music has spanned a variety of musical projects, supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to express creativity and give voice to their experiences,

The R.O.C.K. Project was created under the banner of Youth Music’s Trailblazer Fund, working with local young people to plan and deliver music projects.

The Royal Small Arms Trust

Established in 2004, the RSA Trust makes grants to charities within Enfield and the wider community from the profits generated by RSA Island Village Ltd operating the RSA Island Centre.

Through The RSA Trust’s support, Creative Futures was creatied in 2025. An intergenerational project, directed by the young people.

The Arts Council England

Establised by Royal Charter in 1946, the Arts Council is the national development agency for creativity and culture.

Launched in 2026, Niburu Live introduces an innovative music project to support local grassroots artist.

Enfield Council

Enfield Council has supported a wide range of Niburu’s projects and events over the last 20 years.

Collaborations

Niburu London maintains an active partnership with local community organisation including Exodus Youth Worx UK, Northside Youth Community Connections (NYCC), One to One Enfield, MHA North London, Enfield Voluntary Action (EVA) and Nightingales. These collaborations offer strength to our capacity to provide and deliver innovate positive outcomes across mutual programs.

Northside Youth Community Connections (NYCC)

Established in 2008 in response to the escalating gang violence in the community, NYCC support young people, parents and the wider community through the delivery of bespoke programmes, workshops, mentoring and outreach programmes. NYCC strives to provide the skills to build positive relationships, strengthen and develop self-esteem and confidence, and promote personal skill development.

Enfield Voluntary Action (EVA)

Based in Edmonton, EVA organises a range of training, funding, networking events and advice to support and develops local voluntary organisations, leading to enhanced outcomes for local people.

MHA North London

Through a range of social groups MHA Communities, North London provided a wide range of events and social outings as part of the SWITCH project. In partnership with Niburu London, MHA supported members of One to One Enfield in Creative Writing sessions.

One-to-One Enfield

Based in Winchmore Hill, One-to-One Enfield work towards inclusion of adults with Learning Difficulties and Autism.

One-To-One have partnered with Nibur on a variety of wellbeing projects. As part of the SWITCH Project, and recorded during regular meetings with MHA North London and Niburu Media, the links below shares a podcast by One-to-One members as part of a 5 week Podcast course in 2023.

The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre

Known as a second home for people with cancer, for over 20 years, Nightingales have been helping those diagnosed with cancer.

Funded by the National Lottery, Together at the Table forms a collaboration between Niburu London, lead by Trustee Norman Allen, and Nightingale members. Please visit the dedicated page to learn more of this inspiring project – Together at the Table.

Flourishing Foundations

Founded by Michelle Kyprianou, Flourishing Foundations brings opportunities for wellbeing and resilience for the local community.

Offering a wide range of wellbeing activities from Yoga to Sound Healing, Stress Management to Anxiety Awareness, Flourishing Foundations creates a fresh, inspiring energy to wellbeing events in the Enfield area.

ECYPS

Launched in 2002, ECYPS has been supporting children, young people and their families to achieve fulfilling lives through a wide range of projects.

In addition, ECYPS supports local organisations through training sessions to strengthen and develop skills.

Age UK, Enfield

For almost 4 decades, Age UK Enfield has supported older residents in the Enfield area. As the leading Enfield charity dedicated to supporting and enriching the lives of older residents, Age UK Enfield is supported by a dedicated team of employees and volunteers.

Oasis Hub, Hadley

Part of the Oasis Academy Hadley,the Oasis Community Hadley Hub run a variety of services for the community in a desire to bring the community together.

Working to become the cornerstone of the community in Ponders End, they organise projects and events or the development of the whole community.

Founded in partnership with the London Borough of Enfield, Ponders End Community Development Trust has been working to empower local residents for over 20 years.
