Niburu London

Enriching the community through music, media, health &
wellbeing, inter-generational and local heritage projects.

Welcome To Niburu London

Organising community based workshops, sessions and events since 2004, Niburu London is a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation providing a wide range of workshops and events for the Enfield community. We strongly believe that every community member deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive. Niburu is dedicated to creating accessible, funded workshops and events that support and uplift members of our local community.

Niburu London is proud to be funded by the National Lottery and Youth Music

We are grateful to be supported by The National Lottery and Youth Music, two of the UK’s leading funding organisations, who share our commitment to community enrichment and wellbeing. The National Lottery has been an invaluable partner for many years, funding a range of Niburu’s community projects, including the SWITCH Project, Niburu’s longest running project, reaching an amazing 7 years. Our latest project Together at the Table, is funded by The National Lottery’s Community Fund.

We are also delighted to work again with Youth Music, with whom we have had the pleasure of creating musical initiatives and who will be supporting a new and exciting project R.O.C.K Project (Raising Our Communities Kids), launched in Spring 2025. These partnerships are central to Niburu’s work, enabling us to continue delivering meaningful projects to our local community.

What People Say About Niburu

Niburu London has transformed my perspective on learning. The courses are engaging, and the instructors are truly experts in their fields.
– Emily Thompson

Thanks Colin, it has been most instructive and enjoyable with a good bunch of people.
– Chris Rush

What a fascinating exhibition. I have had a great morning learning about Ponders End.
Even though I was born in the area in the 1960’s and thought I knew a bit about its history, I was amazed by the new facts and personal histories and the many photos and videos. Niburu have done a fantastic job in bringing together an exhibition of previously unconnected facts and capturing personal memories before they are lost to posterity. I wish them every success in continuing this work.
– Bill Cardoza.

Niburu is brilliant, they want to give people the skills that will help them in the future.
Laurence Wegner, SWITCH Volunteer, 2020

Wow! Just wow – Martin that’s amazing, thank you, thank you, thank you, and a huge thank you to Colin too 😊🙏
– Lawrence Desouza Headteacher, Meridian Primary School

Sorry I missed you today and tanks for your time and the work with the children. a caught a few of them today and they absolutely loved it – thank you! 😊
– Lauwrence Desuza – Headteacher, Meridian Primary School

Hi Colin

Do you realise how much you have helped these young people?
I have shared the picture I have attached of Keelam with my colleagues at college and they have said that he never smiles and they are shocked that he has displayed this characteristic.

So this is why I keep encouraging and ‘pushing them’  to fulfil their full potential.
I know you will understand this remit as someone who appreciates the humanistic approach to education.
So I am looking forward to seeing them blossom and gain qualifications on your course.

Also, I have noticed that your material says that the course is 10 sessions at 2-hours each –so that means we didn’t spot my mistake of 5 weeks at 2-hours each.
This means the sessions will finish on Thursday, 1st Feb 2017.

Just think of the value being created.  AMAZING!!!.
Thank you for everything.
